FIELD: analytical instrumentation.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in coulometric hygrometers. The coulometric cell consists of two parts: working and control parts located in the inner channel of the glass case of the coulometric cell, three wire platinum or rhodium helical electrodes, one of the electrodes is common, and the other two electrodes are located between the turns of the common electrode with a gap, a sorbent film covering electrodes and the inner channel of the case, while in the inner channel of the glass case of the coulometric cell on the side of the working part, at the inlet section of the coulometric cell, a cylinder made of a material that does not absorb moisture is installed.

EFFECT: invention allows to increase the service life and the upper limit of humidity measurements.
