FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, neurology, differential diagnosis of moderate cognitive disorders (MCD) of vascular and degenerative genesis for assignment of more active and pathogenetically justified therapy at pre-dementia stage of disease. Patients with MCD undergo voxel-oriented morphometric analysis of structural images on magnetic resonance imager and creating in left and right cerebral hemispheres on regions of interest - amygdaloid body, eye part lower frontal gyrus, thalamus, hippocampus, left parahippocampal gyrus, left lower temporal gyrus. Further, ratio of volume of grey substance (GS) of each mask in voxels to total volume of GS of brain in voxels. At ratio of volumes of masks to total volume of brain GS of left hippocampus less than 0.006609, right hippocampus less than 0.00654, left parahippocampal gyrus less than 0.005484, left amygdaloid body less than 0.001743, right amygdaloid body less than 0.001399 and left lower temporal gyrus less than 0.019112 to total volume of brain GS and absence of atrophy of amygdaloid body and thalamus degenerative MCD Genesis is diagnosed. At ratio of volume of left orbital part of lower frontal gyrus less than 0.008642, right orbital part of lower frontal gyrus less than 0.008546, right thalamus less than 0.004742, left thalamus less than 0.004872 to total volume of brain GS and absence of atrophy of hippocampus and amygdaloid body vascular genesis is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method provides high accuracy of differential diagnostics of MCD vascular and degenerative genesis.
