SUBSTANCE: invention relates to brakes of railway transport. Electrodynamic brake controller comprises additional resistor, current regulator, brake resistor, control unit and condenser, one output of which is connected to anode of power diode, and other is connected to collector of transistor. Extra resistor is connected parallel to capacitor. Control unit is built-in into current regulator. Shunted by reverse diode transistor and power diode represent chopper. Extra resistor is located outside current regulator.

EFFECT: higher reliability of controller.
