FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to copolymer, which is used to improve flow properties of middle-distillate fuels at low temperatures. Copolymer consists of (i) from 10 to 90 mol% repeating units with structure W1: where variables values of R1 and R2 denote hydrogen, alkyl with 1-4 carbon atoms or carboxylic ester groups of formula -COOR9, wherein R9 denotes hydrocarbon residue with 6-30 carbon atoms, and one of variables values R1 or R2 represents hydrogen or alkyl with 1-4 carbon atoms and other is carboxyl ester group of formula -COOR9 and variable values of R3 and R4 represent hydrogen, alkyl with 1-4 carbon atoms, carboxyl an ester group of formula -COOR9, where R9 denotes hydrocarbon residue with 6-30 carbon atoms, or carboxyl group, which can be in form of salts thereof with alkali and alkali-earth metals or in form of ammonium salts. At that, one of variables values R3 or R4 is hydrogen or alkyl with 1-4 carbon atoms, and other is carboxyl ester group of formula -COOR9 and/or carboxyl group, which can also be in form of its salts with alkaline metal, alkali-earth metal or in form of ammonium salt, and (ii) from 90 to 10 mol% repeating units structure W2: in which variable value R5 is residue of carboxylic ester of formula -A-CO-O-R10, in which variable value A is an alkylene group with 1-20 carbon atoms, and variable value R10 is hydrocarbon residue with 1-30 carbon atoms and variable values of R6, R7 and R8, independently represent hydrogen or alkyl with 1-8 carbon atoms. At that, sum of repeating units W1 and W2 is equal to 100 mol%. Also disclosed is method of producing copolymer, middle-distillate fuel containing copolymer, use of copolymer.
EFFECT: copolymer is used to improve flow properties at low temperatures middle-distillate fuels, particularly consisting of biogenic fuel oils or compositions containing them.
