FIELD: laser engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laser engineering. Laser device includes generator which generates and outputs beam femtosecond seed pulses, extension-compression module, which stretches duration of seed pulses, and amplifier which receives stretched seed pulses, amplifies amplitude of selected stretched seed pulses to create amplified stretched pulses and outputs laser beam of amplified stretched pulses back to stretching-compressing unit which compresses their duration and outputs laser beam femtosecond pulse. Amplifier includes dispersion controller which compensates dispersion of amplified stretched pulses, making repetition frequency of laser pulses adjustable.

EFFECT: technical result consists in providing possibility of reducing the size of device and simplification of pulse repetition frequency change.
