FIELD: computer engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering. Method of extracting at least one predictor motion information of encoding or decoding of image through motion compensation with respect to at least one portion of reference image, which provides for processing of at least two different, first and second subset of predictors a first set of motion information predictor motion information, wherein first subset comprises at least one temporal predictor motion information, and second subset comprises at least one spatial predictor motion information and temporal predictors eliminates movement information; process first and second subsets of predictor motion information to produce a final set of predictor motion information useful for prediction image of said portion of reference image portion; wherein second subset of processing comprises deleting copy number of predictors second subset of information movement.
EFFECT: technical result is to reduce computational complexity of encoding and decoding.
