SUBSTANCE: encoding device for determining possible versions of motion vector predictor for a unit to be encoded comprises a unit for obtaining a plurality of motion vectors, wherein a plurality of motion vectors are capable of including a plurality of spatial motion vectors obtained from a frame, including a block to be encoded, or a motion time vector obtained from a frame other than a frame, including a block to be encoded, and a unit for processing a plurality of motion vectors obtained by a receiving unit, wherein if a motion vector of the upper left block is available for the block to be encoded, plurality of spatial motion vectors may include a motion vector of said upper left unit, wherein processing performed by a processing unit comprises determining whether identical motion vectors are obtained by a receiving unit, and does not contain one of identical vectors of motion of possible versions of motion vector predictor for unit to be encoded, in case identical motion vectors were obtained by receiving unit.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reducing computational complexity.
