FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: method of producing package, in which unit is obtained by injection molding. Unit includes plastic tray (10), having bottom facing wall (12), open side and ring-shaped plastic covering ring (20), which is placed on open side of the tray (10) on peripheral rim of tray, and surrounding peripheral rim, and which are connected to tray (10) by means of relatively thin plastic film. Injection molding involves use of dies with cavities to form tray and covering rim, which are connected to each other by means of narrow cavity to form relatively thin plane, plastic is fed in mold to fill cavities of form. Assembly of tray and covering rim is removed from mold after injection molding and cooled to detach cover rim and tray from each other at stage, which involves movement of coating rim downward relative to tray. Thin film between upper rim and tray completely broken; after that, movement of rim is stopped, and piece of cover film (40) is formed, which is connected to upper rim.
EFFECT: invention ensures production of package with reliable seal and low material content.
