Mixture of castor oil and linseed oil is emulsified in aqueous phase. In another embodiment, ophthalmic composition contains an oil mixture consisting of castor oil and linseed oil; sodium carboxymethyl cellulose; glycerine; polysorbate 80; Pemulen TR-2; carnitine; erythritol; boric acid; water. Mixture of castor oil and linseed oil is also emulsified in aqueous phase.

EFFECT: using group of inventions increases efficiency of treating dry eye syndrome, eliminates manifestation of discomfort when using composition, which is achieved by improving distribution and reduction of viscosity of composition.
