FIELD: medicine; optics; electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of powders containing nanoparticles of semiconductor compounds, and can be used in optoelectronics and medicine. Method of producing nanocrystalline lead sulphide includes depositing from an aqueous solution a mixture of an inorganic lead salt and sodium sulphide in presence of sodium citrate or a disodium salt of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (Trilon B). Inorganic lead salt used is lead nitrate, with following ratio of components: lead nitrate: sodium sulphide: sodium citrate or Trilon B = 1:0.8-2:0.1-2.
EFFECT: invention simplifies production of single-phase impurity-free lead sulphide nanoparticles with size from 4 to 105 nm, reduces process duration.
