FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: device for quasi-optical transmission line of terahertz waves comprises a set of dielectric lenses, spatially spaced apart and located along waves propagation direction. Lenses are made in form of cuboid with value of wall in range of 0.85λ to 1.3λ, where λ is wavelength of terahertz radiation in surrounding space, and are made from dielectric material with relative refraction index N/N0 (N0-refraction index of environment) lying in range of 1.2 to 1.6, and distance between corresponding lenses is selected within range of 2L to 3L.
EFFECT: reducing size of quasi-optical transmission line of terahertz waves and thickness of dielectric lenses and simple design of lenses.
