FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment and concerns method of recording electromagnetic radiation in IR, microwave, and terahertz wave-length ranges. Method includes directing electromagnetic radiation to sensitive element of radiation receiver, converting it into thermal or other form of energy, and its recording. Before sensitive element of the receiver, on the side of radiation incident on it, dielectric device is placed, form directly on its output local region of concentrated electromagnetic field with transverse dimensions of the order λ/3-λ/4, where λ is wave-length of incident radiation, and sensitive element of the receiver is placed in this local region.

EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the sensitivity and speed of the receivers of electromagnetic radiation.
