FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Medical device for fixation in the femoral bone of patient comprises connecting part, made with possibility of connecting to contact part of the prosthesis or embedding into contact part of the prosthesis, several expanding parts, contact surface for contact with bone and elastic device to actuate, made with possibility to actuate expanding part by means of continuous application of elastic force to it, when medical device is implanted. Contact surface for contact with bone is located on expanding part, made with possibility of at least partial insertion into the femoral bone and to expand in this femoral bone so, that said contact surface stays in contact with inner part of the femoral bone for attachment of said medical device directly or indirectly to the femoral cortical bone.
EFFECT: invention provides strong fixation without passing or penetration through bone or without use of bone cement.
