FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Implanted lubricant for lubricating a joint of a patient being a human or mammal by adding a lubricant fluid comprises an implantable reservoir, an implantable replenishment inlet, an implanted infusion needle and an implantable drive unit. Implanted reservoir is configured to replenish and store lubricant fluid medium. Implantable filling inlet channel is connected to the above implanted reservoir for replenishment of the above implanted reservoir. Implanted infusion needle is fluidly connected to said implanted reservoir. Said implanted infusion needle is made for longitudinal displacement and has a tip having an outlet for fluid delivery. Implanted drive unit is connected to the implanted infusion needle and is configured to move and withdraw the tip of the implanted infusion needle to introduce said lubricant fluid into the area of said joint.
EFFECT: invention provides sufficient joint lubrication with minimum risk of infection.
