FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of electronic beam sterilisation of packed medical device with bioactive coating. Method for sterilisation of medical device having heparin coating involves placing medical device in package containing drying agent; package washing with non-reactive gas; creation of vacuum inside package in order to remove residues of gas and moisture; tight sealing of package; treatment of packing and medical device with one or several doses of electron-beam radiation. At that, level of electron-beam radiation dose varies from 10 kGy to 40 kGy.
EFFECT: method of sterilization provides sterility and increases shelf life of medical device by maintaining activity of heparin coating.
