FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to thrust plate and slide bearing antifriction pad design. Thrust plate and slide bearing antifriction pad is a composite containing fluoroplastic antifriction element glued on a metal base. Antifriction element is made of polytetrafluoroethylene (fluoroplastic-4) with thickness from 50 up to 1,000µm, subjected to corona discharge when after discharging a prepreg is glued on the surface made as glass fabric impregnated with solution of a mixture of dioxide- dicyclopentadiene and epoxy-diane resin in the ratio of 50:50 to 90:10, containing a reaction product as a hardener which is an organic solvent reactor of phenol-formaldehyde resin with boric anhydride at the ratio of 5:95 to 30:70 used in the amount of 30 pts. wt. to 150 pts. wt. per 100 pts. wt. of the epoxy component if calculated into dry products, wherein the prepreg is applied on the discharged surface not later than 3 days after the effect of corona discharge, thus the storage-stable two-layer composite is applied on the prepreg side on the metal base, heated up to +150 … +200 °C, with subsequent rolling with a roller or pressed at the specific pressure from 2 to 20 kg/cm2, and stabilised for 2-5 minutes.
EFFECT: technical result is creation of heat-resistant high-strength coating providing resistance to prolonged temperature of +250 °C and at least 100 hours at +320 °C, as well as the increase of fluoroplastic shelf-life after the corona discharge effect.
