FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to separation of loose grain materials according to size, density, shape and roughness, elasticity and can be used in agriculture, chemistry, metallurgy, construction industry. Separator comprises loading hopper, load control device, series-arranged in a cascade inclined trays with a gap between them in a projection on horizontal plane, collector of separation products. Load control device is made in form of a damper installed at output of loading hopper. Inclined trays are installed at an angle to horizontal, close to angle of natural slope of granular material, and are made in form of rough plane with perforations, size of holes of which is less than size of fine particles of a mixture of granular material. Above lower edge of bottom of perforated rough plane, parallel therewith, there is a separation plate arranged to displace. Above and under a layer of granular material on inclined perforated rough planes, there is an air channel connected to cyclone for separation of fine mineral impurities and a fan. Fan provides blowing of granular material layer on inclined perforated surface in direction from open surface layer to its base. It is possible to shift gravity flow of granular material on said surface with movement of upper layers with considerably higher speeds than that of lower layers, and separation of granular layers in height by impurities and seeds.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of separation of loose grain materials in gravity flow due to use of segregation and migration effects on cascade inclined perforated rough plane.
