FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an improved method for production of human growth hormone, and can be used in medicine. Human growth hormone (hGH) is produced by fermenting E.coli cells in a culture medium containing manganese, zinc, cobalt, molybdenum, calcium, copper and boron as trace elements with recovery of inclusion bodies.
EFFECT: invention enables to produce hGH using significantly fewer devices and pieces of equipment and without the necessity to use reducing agents and/or chaotropic agents.
