SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of electric treatment of fermented milk drinks. Method envisages placement of a fermented milk drink with fat content 1.0-2.5 % in cathode chamber of the diaphragm cell, its electric treatment at temperature 20-25 °C, current density 0.08-0.11 A/cm2 at voltage of 38-39 V with consumption of electricity 0.15-0.20 A∙h per 1 l of catholyte and anolyte, drainage of exhaust product, agitation, holding during 1-2 hours at 20-25 °C, cooling and storage at temperature +2…+8 °C.

EFFECT: higher quality of fermented milk drinks due to reduction of titratable acidity and reducing oxidation-reduction potential to negative values (such as -550÷-600 mV).
