METHOD FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT OF FEMALES OF REPRODUCTIVE AGE WITH INTRAMURAL SUBSEROUS HYSTEROMYOMA Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC A61B17/42

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to obstetrics and gynaecology. Method comprises making rear colpotomy and removing uterus and/or myomatous nodule/modules into vagina, before that on a posterior wall of uterus at its centre line making ligatures of absorbable suture material at a depth of 5-7 mm by means of needle holder L24 cm and needle MN-1 2-0, followed by taking ends of ligatures on clamp and pulling of uterus with help thereof outwards and upwards into vagina to maximum possible turning and removing uterus. Then 2-3 cm above previous suture, making following suture, using following ligature and previous Ligature is cut and pulling up uterus as in previous suture. Suturing is repeated more than once until complete withdrawal of uterus and/or myomatous nodule into vagina, application of each subsequent suture is performed at 2-3 cm higher than previous one. Then method includes removing myomatous nodule/modules, suturing bed of myomatous nodule/modules, uterus is immersed into abdominal cavity with its further drainage and closure of colpotomy wound.

EFFECT: method enables to take into vagina uterus with localisation unit in its bottom, as well as in localisation unit along a posterior wall of uterus and its dimensions of 7-10 cm, which reduces conversions on laparotomy, reduces duration of operation, blood loss volume, eliminates necessity of blood transfusion, reduces postoperative soreness and consumption of analgesics, reduces patient's stay in hospital, improves aesthetic effect of operation.
