FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of hierarchically microstructured titanium-phosphorus double oxide by hydrothermal method and can be used in production of inorganic ion-exchange materials, semiconductors, biosensors, electrochemically active materials. Method includes two stages. At the first stage, titanium powder is dispersed in a mixture of ammonia solution and hydrogen peroxide at ratio of 1:4 and temperature control of mixture within 5-10 °C. Obtained light-yellow solution of the peroxo complex is mixed with a solution of DL-mandelic acid. Obtained aqueous solution is evaporated in a drying oven to obtain a titanium complex in the form of a light-yellow solid. At the second stage, a solution of the titanium complex in water is prepared, placed in a Teflon cup, and phosphoric acid is added in molar ratio of the titanium complex to phosphoric acid Ti:P equal to 1:7. Obtained aqueous solution is sealed in an autoclave and heated at temperature of 140 °C for 2 hours to obtain a precipitate, which is decanted, washed with distilled water, followed by centrifugation and dried at 90 °C for 12 hours.
EFFECT: obtaining hierarchically structured microspherical titanium phosphate with microsphere size of 10±0.5 mcm.
