SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of automatic recovery of lithium target. Declared method and device provide presence of lithium film thickness measurement function in lithium target and automatic regeneration of spent lithium target by movement of deposition source from vapour phase to lithium target. Device (106) for automatic recovery of lithium target provides automatic recovery of lithium in lithium target, wherein device (106) comprises lithium deposition unit (1) from vapor phase for deposition of lithium from vapor phase on lithium target. Lithium deposition unit (1) from vapor phase provides lithium deposition from vapor phase on lithium target, moving to side of lithium target.

EFFECT: no need in replacement of lithium as lithium consumption target in this target, as well as possibility for local or complete recovery of lithium in lithium target in automatic mode.
