FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rod manufacturing method. Disclosed is a rod manufacturing method where a) profile of synthetic material is obtained by extrusion from the first moulding composition of synthetic material, which forms the outer layer and consists at least for 50 wt% of partially crystallic thermoplastic, the synthetic material is selected from a polyamide, partially aromatic polyester, fluoropolymer, polyphenylene sulfide and simple polyarylene ether ketone, b) inside this calibrator this fresh extruded profile is filled with the second moulding composition of synthetic material, and c) obtained new rod is calibrated, offset and cooled, note here that first moulding composition of synthetic material has the following characteristics: melting point of crystallites Tm in accordance with ISO 11357 at least 170 °C; crystallisation temperature Tk in accordance with ISO 11357 maximum by 70 K below Tm and enthalpy of melting ΔH in accordance with ISO 11357 at least 20 J/g. Invention also discloses use options of the obtained rod. Rods can be made with high accuracy in size with respect to the diameter and the straightness, and are suitable as workpieces for production of finished parts by cutting, in particular, for making implants.

EFFECT: technical result is that suggested method allows to manufacture multilayer rods with layers consisting of different materials.
