FIELD: measurement technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of flow measurement by electromagnetic method. Proposed electromagnetic flow meter with rectangular cross-section channel, in which on each wall, disposed parallel to the magnetic field is set at least three electrodes, contact surfaces of which have round shape with diameter less than 1/10 of the width of the channel wall, note here that all electrodes are located at equal distance from each other along line of intersection of wall surface with the plane of the central cross section. Measure of flow rate is the sum of potentials differences of all electrodes.

EFFECT: increasing of accuracy of measuring flow rate with variable flow structure.
