FIELD: pharmaceutics.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pharmaceutics, in particular, to methods of quantitative analysis of drugs. Method relates to determination of rifabutin in sample with unknown content of rifabutin and, optionally, other components (analyzed sample), wherein using: (a) device for capillary zone electrophoresis, equipped with thermostatic chamber for capillary, capillary, optical detector, facilities for measurement results recording, sample input facilities; (b) electrolyte; in which capillary is filled with electrolyte (b), analyzed sample is introduced into capillary by means of sample input, electrophoretogram is measured and recorded (absorption value or change depending on electrophoresis performance time) by optical detector, characterized by that content of rifabutin in it and, optionally, other components in analyzed sample is defined by relationship area of rifabutin peaks and, optionally, other components on electrophoretogram obtained under same conditions, using solutions with previously known concentrations of rifabutin and, optionally, other components of analyzed samples.
EFFECT: method of capillary zone electrophoresis allows simultaneous quantitative determination of both rifabutin, and components such as albumin and amino acids, in wide range of concentrations of latter, wherein range of linearity of calibration curve is much higher than that of previously used methods based on HPLC, that reduces number of measurements of standard solutions when constructing calibration curve, avoiding application of complex mathematical models when processing measurement results, no need in strong diluted samples.
