FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used for protection of radio electronics from ultrashort pulses. Delay line comprises a coil consisting of one support conductor, two signal conductors that are parallel to each other and to the support conductor and interconnected at one end with the product of the sum of linear delay of even and odd modes on the length of not less than the sum of duration of the front, the flat top and the decay of the pulse signal, the conductors are placed in air, to the second end of the coil the same coil is connected without electromagnetic coupling with conductors of the first coil, selection of parameters of both structures simultaneously provides equality of average geometric value of wave resistances of even and odd modes to wave impedance of the path containing the line.
EFFECT: attenuation of the amplitude of ultrashort pulses (USP).
