SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to protect electronic equipment from electrostatic discharge. The delay line consists of one reference conductor, two signal conductors parallel to it and to each other, interconnected at one end, and a dielectric medium formed by the dielectric substrate and ambient air, the reference conductor of which is located on the same side of the dielectric substrate with one of the signal conductors, and the second signal conductor is located symmetrically to the first one with respect to the dielectric substrate, and simultaneously with the choice of the parameters of the cross section, the line is folded into coils with jumpers between the coils with a weak connection between them, which is ensured by the distance from the edge of the structure to the border of the conductor closest to it, equal to the value of the tripled width of the conductor.

EFFECT: reduction of size of communication line without compromising the attenuation of ultrashort pulses
