FIELD: radio engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used for protection of radio electronics from ultrashort pulses. Delay line comprises a turn consisting of one reference conductor, two signal conductors parallel to each other and to the reference conductor and interconnected at one end with the product of the sum of linear delays of the even and the uneven modes of the line by its length of not less than the sum of lengths of the front, the flat top and the pulse signal decay, herewith the conductors are placed in the air, to the second end of the turn and identical turn is connected but with a different distance between the conductors, which are not electromagnetically connected with conductors of the first turn, selection of parameters of both structures simultaneously provides equality of the average geometric value of wave resistances of the even and the uneven modes to the path wave impedance containing the line and minimization of the signal amplitude at the line output.

EFFECT: technical result is reducing the amplitude of ultrashort pulses (USP).
