FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polypropylene composition having high melt strength, suitable for preparing thermoforming products and blow molded products, as well as to method for preparing them. Polypropylene composition contains a polymer base, containing 25-85 wt% of isotactic propylene homopolymer with melt flow rate (230 °C/2.16 kg) of 1.5 to 30 g/10 min and from 15 to 75 wt% of homopolymer or propylene copolymer with ethylene with melt flow rate (230 °C/2.16 kg) of 0.1 to 1.1 g/10 min, as well as radical grafting initiator, a cross-linking/branching agent representing acrylate which has two or more functional groups, primary and/or secondary amine, ether and/or alcohol hemiester and an unsaturated aliphatic acid and, optionally, other additives.

EFFECT: obtained by mixing followed by granulation polypropylene composition has high melt strength and is characterized by high crystallization temperature and heat resistance.
