FIELD: radar.
SUBSTANCE: radio-measuring apparatus for measuring scattering cross-section of radar targets has a transmitter, double tee, variable complex load, receiver, receiving-transmitting antenna, target support and compensating support, wherein the output of the transmitter is connected to input of one N arm of the waveguide tee, output of which is connected to the input of receiving-transmitting antenna, the output of another N arm of the waveguide tee is connected to the input-output of variable complex matched load, besides, the output of E arm of the waveguide tee is connected to the input of the receiver. Compensating support equivalent to the target support is installed in parallel and next to the target support at a distance more than the diameter of the support with shift along electrical axis of receiving-transmitting antenna on an odd number of its radiation wavelength. This result is achieved by using the second compensating support equivalent to the target support and installed next to it at a distance more than its diameter with shift along electrical axis of receiving-transmitting antenna on an odd number of its radiation wavelength.
EFFECT: invention technical result consists in increase of accuracy of measuring the scattering cross-section of the target owing to compensation for the signal reflected from the support.
