SUBSTANCE: assembly for measuring the radar target cross section on models comprises: transmitter, receiver, waveguide hybrid-T, composite variable load, transceiver antenna, model support and compensation support. Compensation support isdesigned identical to the model support, to be set a platform in the measurement zone of the target range, as integrated part of the target model support, and parallel to the target at distance greater than the support diameter, with a shift along the electrical axis of the antenna by an odd number of quarter wavelengths of the incident field of the model.
EFFECT: increase of measurement accuracy for target model RCS by suppressing the interference caused by reflection of the incident field of the model support.
