SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to information processing devices, such as a document managing server. Information processing method involves monitoring the storage area by a link information, created at a location with lower rank relative to the storage area to search/locating, sending notification on the created storage reference information and, in response to said notification search data items, which are contained in the storage area of data elements and correspond to the search criteria contained in the storage area by a reference information among items of data stored in a database. Information processing device implements the information processing method.
EFFECT: higher rate of extraction of documents due to avoiding the need to determine a hierarchical folder structure.
