FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used in drill winches belt-shoe brakes. Belt-shoe brake friction units “heat pipe” type cooling system comprises brake pulley, brake belt with friction pads, cooling system made in form of heat pipe, located on brake pulley non-working surface with separate evaporation and condensation zones, and drive. Heat pipe consists of two annular chambers, wherein movable circular articles are located, having U-shape in transversal cross section and made from materials with capillary-porous structure, with vertical and horizontal through-holes of various diameters made in their vertical and horizontal components. Annular chambers are interconnected via steam line and condensate line having same length.
EFFECT: increased service life of brake friction pairs by increasing efficiency of forced cooling.
