FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mass-exchange plates for gas (steam)-fluid systems, intended for absorption, rectification, and can be used in chemical, petrochemical and other related industries. Bubble-cap tray contact element comprises vapour pipe, cap in form of cylindrical or conical cup with slots in its lower part. Outer surface of cap is equipped with at least one, located in horizontal plane, plate-type rib, made in form of a ring, fitted through its central hole on cap cup, wherein diameter of central hole of ring corresponds to outer diameter of cap cup in place of its fixation on cap, and outer diameter of ring does not exceed distance to adjacent contact element of cap plate. In contact element in peripheral part of plate annular ribs there are teeth, which in peripheral part of plate annular rib are evenly bent downwards at an angle in range of 75-90° from horizontal. In plate annular rib there are perforations in form of arched cutouts with convex side upwards with outlet holes, directed at an acute angle in radial direction from centre of cap. Along edge of central hole of plate annular rib there is a collar. Annular rib is fixed on outer surface of cap by interference fit.

EFFECT: technical result is increased intensity of interaction of gas (steam) and liquid due to increase in contact element of length of path of mixture and use a more developed surface of phase contact.
