FIELD: radars.

SUBSTANCE: presented group of inventions is related to devices for monitoring and operation of radar measurement system for determining level of filling the tank. Device for monitoring of operation of a radar system level measurement includes transceiver for generating, transmitting and receiving electromagnetic signals; probe, connected to the transceiver to direct transmitted electromagnetic signal from the transceiver to contained in the reservoir product to ensure penetration of said signal in the product and to return the reflected electromagnetic signal obtained as a result of reflections on non-uniformities distribution properties, facing transmitted electromagnetic signal, and including surface echo signal obtained as a result of reflection at the level of surface contained in reservoir product; at least first inhomogeneity distribution properties, arranged along the probe at the first known distance from initial position above said tank and designed to reflect a fragment of the electromagnetic signal transmitted back to the transceiver to generate a first reference echo-signal. First inhomogeneity distribution properties for setting the detection zone is located above normal range overflow tank filling level; apparatus for estimating signal to estimate first fragment of the reflected electromagnetic signal having flight time corresponding to the first distance from initial position; designating device for determining, based on said estimation, to detect if the first reference echo signal in the first fragment of the reflected electromagnetic signal and to determine, based on reflected electromagnetic signal can be identified level surface; and apparatus for generating signals for monitoring working state determination down "operation and inhibits operation of the reservoir, If so, that level surface cannot be identified and the first reference echo signal is detected in the first fragment of the reflected electromagnetic signal and to generate the signal, indicating that the filling level is in the detection zone overflow, if the level of surface cannot be identified and the first reference echo signal is not detected in the first fragment of the reflected electromagnetic signal. EFFECT: presented group of inventions allows implementing additional signalling mechanism of tank overflow in case they are unfavorable for measurement of conditions.
