SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Cutting instrument comprises a moving mechanism, a working portion, a blade with two edges and an elongated member having a tubular portion and a shaft-like portion inserted in tubular portion. Blade is installed at end of elongated member. Working portion moves tubular portion and shaft-like portion relative to each other.
EFFECT: moving mechanism converts relative motion of tubular portion and shaft-like portion into rotation of blade between a retracted position and a protruding position as a result of actuation of working portion.
