SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF DETERMINING PROTOCOLS OF INJECTION OF PHARMACEUTICAL FLUID ON THE BASIS OF VOLTAGE ON X-RAY TUBE Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC A61M31/00 A61M35/00 G01N23/06

Abstract RU 2605272 C2

FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: series of inventions relates to medical equipment, namely, to means of pharmaceutical fluid delivery to patient. Parameters' generator for use in imaging system containing tomographic scanner, is programmed: for determination of parameters of,at least, first phase of injection procedure, including, at least, one parameter, on the basis of voltage to be applied to, at least, one X-ray tube during visualization procedure for determination of, at least, one of volumes of pharmaceutical fluid, which is necessary to be introduced by injection during, at least, first phase, and pharmaceutical fluid flow rate, which is necessary to be introduced by injection during, at least, first phase, on the basis of voltage for determination of volume of pharmaceutical fluid, which is necessary to be introduced by injection during, at least, first phase, in accordance with formula: V1=weight·X·Y, wherein V1 is volume of pharmaceutical fluid, X depends on patient's weight and voltage on X-ray tube and Y depends on concentration of contrast enhancer in pharmaceutical fluid, for determining X for specific patient's weight of reference table, where X is presented in form of dependance from patient's weight and voltage to be applied to, at least, one X-ray tube during imaging. Method of operating system for controlling injection system for delivering pharmaceutical fluid to patient involves determination of parameters of injection, at least, in first phase of injection procedure by means of system parameters generator and injection system control by means of system, at least, partially based on certain parameters of injection. Method of creating injection protocol for use with injection system includes step of determining parameters of injection, at least, in first phase of injection procedure by means of parameters' generator.

EFFECT: using these inventions enables extending range of fluids' delivery means to patient.
