SUBSTANCE: invention relates to video encoding through mutual prediction and compensation of motion. Technical result is achieved by determining jointly arranged block of the current image of blocks of jointly arranged image in the reference list of the current image, herewith, when jointly arranged image is determined in reference list L1 of the current block, determined is reference list L0 of jointly arranged block as jointly arranged reference list, which is addressed for current block motion vector prediction, and performing an interframe prediction for the current block using the motion vector corresponding to the jointly arranged reference list.
EFFECT: technical result is ensuring mutual prediction for determining a reference image by means of a jointly arranged image.
