FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine. Tibial component is disclosed, which is suitable for use in orthopedic prosthesis containing hip component and centering support element, wherein tibial component comprises flat tibial plate. Flat tibial plate comprises top support surface and bottom fastening surface and it is made with possibility to receive in situ centering support elements loaded in front interchangeably in movable or fixed assemblies of prosthesis. Tibial plate also comprises at least one fastening means arranged at front to fasten centering support element to tibial plate with possibility of removal. Interchangeability between moving and fixed assemblies of said centering support element is provided directly during or after exploring surgery without effect on bone connecting surface of tibial component. Method of exploring surgery is also disclosed for remodeling areas of surface of knee joint, subject to cartilage failure. Method is minimally invasive, it includes stage of use and introduction of orthopedic prosthesis comprising said tibial component.

EFFECT: invention enables universal use for treating any patient with minimum invasiveness, longer operating life and lower cost.
