Ultrasonic transducer (12) excitation device (40, 60), having one or more converter elements, comprising: output terminal (42; 68) for enabling alternating excitation voltage (VI4; V22) to load (12), plurality of voltage supply elements (46, 48, 50, 52; 72, 74) to provide intermediate voltage levels (VI6), plurality of controlled connection devices (S0-S7), each of which is connected with one off voltage supply elements (46, 48, 50, 52; 72, 74) for connection of voltage supply elements (46, 48, 50, 52; 72, 74) to output terminal (42; 68) and to supply one of intermediate voltage levels (V16) or sum of plurality of intermediate voltage levels (V16) in form of alternating excitation voltage (V14; V22) to output terminal; and second output terminal (76), wherein excitation voltage (V22) is provided between first and second output terminals (68; 76).

EFFECT: technical result consists in power factor increasing and communication factor increasing.
