SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to determination of concentration of glucose. Method for determining glucose concentration uses the system that includes a test strip with a reference electrode and a working electrode, which is coated with a reagent layer applied on matrix layer containing a mediator, and a meter. Proposed method comprises the following stages: applying a test voltage between the reference and working electrodes; measuring the first, second and third test currents at the working electrode after applying a blood sample containing analyte; determining glucose concentration using the following formula: , where G is the concentration of glucose; I1 – first test current; I2 – second test current; I3 – third test current; p – exponential component, which is equal to the value calculated using the formula: , where a and b – correction parameters; intercept 1 is the length of the intercept determined from linear regression of curve of dependency from the reference glucose concentration; and inclination of 1 is the value of inclination determined from linear regression of curve of dependency from the reference glucose concentration; and displaying the glucose concentration. Also disclosed is a method for determining the test current corrected to hematocrit, as well as a system for measuring the concentration of glucose.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of determining the concentration of glucose.
