SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to analysis for detecting an analyte in physiological fluids. Disclosed is a method of determining blood glucose concentration using a blood glucose measurement system which includes: inserting a test strip into a port connector for mounting a meter strip for connecting at least two electrodes of the test strip with the strip measurement circuit; analysis after sample application; applying a first voltage and measuring a first output current value; switching first voltage to second voltage different from first voltage; changing the second voltage to the third voltage other than the second voltage; measuring the second output current value of the transient current signal from the electrodes after changing from the second voltage to the third voltage; evaluation of current close to output value of steady-state current of transient current signal, after installation of third voltage on electrodes; outputting current proportional to initial concentration of glucose, based on first current, second current and estimated current; compiling a hematocrit compensation coefficient formula based on current proportional to the initial glucose concentration, and calculating glucose concentration from the output current proportional to the initial glucose concentration and the hematocrit compensation factor. Also disclosed is a system for measuring glucose concentration in blood for carrying out the above method.
