SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment and can be used for high-accuracy determination of various physical quantities, in particular, mechanical values, geometrical parameters of objects and physical properties of substances. Method of measuring a physical quantity using a sensor comprises determining output value thereof depending on value of input physical quantity with conversion function of sensor, wherein conversion function of sensor is varied as a function of input and output values.

EFFECT: technical result is expansion of scope of application.
