FIELD: measurement technology; equipment for diagnostics.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended to determine the technical state of a hydraulic system filter element in the functional mode. Method of diagnosing the technical state of a hydraulic system filter element involves determining the filter control parameter and its transmission to the memory or the operator during operation of the hydraulic system, herewith measured is dielectric permeability of the filter element, continuously compared is current value of dielectric permeability of the filter element with its maximum tolerable value and determined is expected residual life of the filter element by the proposed formula.
EFFECT: invention increases accuracy of estimating the technical state of a hydraulic system filter element, provides predicting its residual life thus increasing efficiency of maintenance of filter elements taking into account their actual technical state.
