FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, in particular, to steelmaking method in basic-oxygen furnace. Method consists in supply of basic-oxygen furnace as liquid cast iron and scrap metal metal charge with, slag forming materials in form of lime, iron-rich and raw dolomite, further metal blowing with oxygen from above through submersible tuyere with change of oxygen flow rate and tuyere position above molten metal level in still state. Simultaneously with oxygen blowing molten metal is added in portions with raw sideritic ore with interval from 1 to 1.5 minutes in amount of 1.0–1.5 % of metal charge total consumption at raw sideritic ore ratio to amount of metal scrap in charge 0.08:1–0.16:1. Besides, using raw sideritic ore with size grade of 20–60 mm and with iron content of not less than 25 % and magnesium oxide content of not less than 9 %.
EFFECT: disclosed method allows to improve melted steel quality and increase quality metal yield.
