FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of catalytic membranes by "sol-gel" method and can be used in catalytic membrane reactors for conversion of methane. Method of producing a "sol-gel" complex from at least four metal salts M1, M2, M3, and M4, acceptable and intended for producing material of perovskite type corresponding to general formula (I): A(1-x)A'xB(1-y-u)B'yB"uO3-δ (I), includes steps of producing aqueous solution of water-soluble salts of elements A, A', B, B' and optionally B" in stoichiometric ratios required for production of material defined earlier; obtaining aqueous-alcoholic solution of at least one nonionic surfactant in alcohol, selected from methanol, ethanol, propanol, isopropanol or butanol, mixed with aqueous ammonia solution in proportions sufficient to ensure complete solubilisation of nonionic surfactant in aqueous-alcoholic solution, wherein concentration of nonionic surfactant in aqueous-alcoholic solution is less than critical micellar concentration; producing sol from said components; drying sol by evaporation of solvent. Prepared complex is applied on a substrate by dipping, followed by crystallisation or spray-drying to produce powder. Example of composition of obtained compound – La(1-x)SrxFe(1-y)CoyO3-δ.

EFFECT: increased surface of exchange and oxygen flow passing through membrane.
