FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method for identifying products of DNA chemical hydrolysis involves chromatographic determination of hydrolysis products. The analysis is carried out using a chromatographic column filled with pentafluorophenyl-modified silicone dioxide, 4.6×150 mm, bead size 5 mkm, at 28°C. The adsorbed DNA hydrolysis products are eluted by a mixture of water, formic acid and acetonitrile in gradient mode as follows: during first stage gradient of acetonitrile varies linearly from 0 to 25% within 6 minutes; acetonitrile gradient of 25% is maintained for 4 minutes, the final stage involves phase equilibration for 4 minutes using 100% water with 0.1% formic acid, flow rate 0.6 ml/min.
EFFECT: provided reasonable separation of DNA chemical hydrolysis products for determination of DNA adducts.
