FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of car armor producing. Method involves using a substrate and protective cylindrical elements tightly arranged on it, above which outer lining is arranged. Substrate, layer of protective cylindrical elements and lining are connected together by adhesive substance. Protective cylindrical elements are formed as hollow metal cylinders. Inner diameter, as well as the gap size between cylinders is smaller than that of small arms bullets.
EFFECT: reliable protection of personnel and equipment at hitting armored protection with small arms bullets is achieved.
