FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: device for cotyloid cavity processing for complete hip replacement includes a housing, an electric motor with a rotation transmission shaft, a motor switch, a circular saw, a spoke with a threaded end, a centralizer for cotyloid component cement fixation, a restrictive tube for placement on the said spoke, a lever, connected to the lower part of the housing by a hinge and to the upper part of the housing through a spring, a lever latch connected to the upper part of the housing by a hinge, a multi-stage transmission. The housing has a longitudinal channel for the rotation shaft and a parallel tube for the above-mentioned spoke fixed to the housing, an outer stationary unit is fixed to the lower part of the housing, an inner mobile unit located inside the outer unit. The lever is simultaneously connected to the inner mobile unit by hinges and pusher with a possibility of mobile unit movement relative to the stationary unit, perpendicularly to the spoke axis. The centralizer for cotyloid component cement fixation is made with an axial threaded hole for spoke screwing. The multi-stage transmission is located in the housing, in the outer stationary unit and in the inner mobile unit and has a shaft for rotation transmission from the motor and an output shaft, with a circular saw fixed at one end perpendicularly to the shaft, and the latter is parallel to the housing channel.

EFFECT: uniform removal of ossificates, surrounding the cotyloid cavity, formation of a flat surface at the same distance from the cotyloid component edge, reducing the time of surgery as a result of cotyloid cavity processing mechanization, minimization of damage to the surrounding soft tissues.
