SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to cardiology and pediatrics. The age of the patient, the volume of the left and right atria as a percentage of the predicted individual normal calue, left ventricular ejection fraction detected by echocardiography, as well as daily average and maximum heart rate according to daily ECG monitoring are determined. Based on these factors, the probability of efficient antiarrhythmic therapy (AAT) for children is estimated by means of a discriminant equation. Upon a receipt of <-0.488, a high probability of AAT efficiency for children is predicted.

EFFECT: invention allows maximum personalization and definition of children treatment tactic, reduction of pill burden on the child's body and timely application of other treatment methods in case of predicted prolonged AAT ineffeciency; does not involve invasive diagnostic measures, which is especially important for infants and preschool children.
